Sparks Fly in Paris! Cameron Brink engaged to longtime love, Ben Felter

Cameron Brink's off-season just turned into wedding season! The LA Sparks rookie recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Ben Felter. The two have been together for more than three years, a romance that started while they were both star athletes and students at Stanford.

The joyful bride-to-be shared the news on Instagram, commemorating the sweet proposal in a series of black and white portraits that captured the moment Ben got down on one knee, as well as some snapshots of them with the Eiffel tower serving as the perfect romantic backdrop.

The exciting occasion comes at the perfect time, as these last few months were not exactly what Cameron had envisioned for her rookie year. During the 2024 Draft, the LA Sparks selected her as the second pick overall to join their team in an effort to rebuild it, but after only 15 games, Brinks suffered a torn ACL that ended her season abruptly. Besides missing her first full season in the WNBA, Cameron's Olympic dreams were also crushed in the process. However, she's working daily on her recovery and feels optimistic about returning to the court as soon as possible.

I’m gonna come back so much stronger, you know, from this, and it’s just really encouraging to have that support. So, it means a lot to me.
— Cameron Brink

Throughout all these tumultuous events, Ben has been by her side, helping her explore new hobbies while she recovers. One of their shared interests that first brought them together was their mutual love for sports, including hiking and, more recently, surfing. However, while Cameron is still on the path to health, they have been exploring new activities that involve their creativity instead. She credits Ben for introducing her to new artistic endeavors: "My boyfriend has turned me into a huge art lover. I love pottery and watercolor, even though I'm terrible."

Cameron has also been expressing her creativity through fashion, showing up to every game in the best tunnel walk outfits. Not only is she wearing these iconic pieces, but she is also getting constant invitations to fashion events, to which she sometimes brings Ben as her plus one. She was invited to attend Paris Fashion Week, which ended up being the perfect excuse for Ben to pop the question in the most romantic city in the world. However, his initial plan was to stay behind with the excuse of work so he could truly amaze Cameron with this remarkable moment.

After she attended the Balenciaga show at the Shangri-La Hotel, Ben surprised her by showing up and getting down on one knee. The answer was, as Cameron shared it, "Yes in every lifetime 🤍♾️"

Cameron & Ben are relationship goals

For now, the couple's future looks thrilling. Ben is studying his master's degree in Computer Science and already works for the U.S. Department of Defense, while Cameron is preparing to make her eagerly awaited return to the WNBA. As they continue to grow professionally, it's exciting to see their relationship evolve and bring them closer together as they continue to be each other's biggest supporters.
