Who's making HERstory?

NCAA Basketball: Caitlin Clark makes HERstory once again setting the NCAA D1 basketball all-time scoring record. This time surpassing the men after earning the women’s title just two weeks ago! The 22-year-old basketball superstar claimed the title during Saturday’s game against Ohio State. Clark needed 18 points to pass “Pistol” Pete Maravich’s record of 3,667 (set back in 1968-1970); Clark reached her target in the first half and finished the game with 36 total points. Plus, Iowa walked away with a 93-83 victory over Ohio State.

Track and Field: HERSTORY at the Indoor Track and Field World Championships this weekend. Ellie St. Pierre became the first American woman to win gold in the 3000m, setting a new championship record with a 8:20.87 time. Even more incredible, she gave birth to her son less than a year ago. Meanwhile, Tara Davis-Woodhall took the long jump title, jumping a whopping 7.07 meters (23 ft. 2.3 inches)! This is Tara's first world title and comes just weeks after becoming the world leader at the national championships. She’s a clear long jump favorite heading into the Olympic Trials in June.

USWNT: It was an all-out battle in the USWNT’s 3-0 victory over Colombia on Sunday night, advancing them to the semi-finals of the Concacaf Women’s Gold Cup. The game gave the US redemption after their shocking loss to Mexico last week. Goals from Lindsay Horan, Jenna Nighswonger, and Jaedyn Shaw sealed the deal for the win. The final will be played against Canada on Wednesday at the inaugural Women's Gold Cup.

Caitlin Clark started paving the way in sports at a young age and continues to grow her legacy. What started as a little girl with a dream, is now cemented in the history books as a woman holding the NCAA record for most points scored in any men’s or woman’s basketball career. From playing in a boy's rec league at five years old, to being named ESPN’s fourth-best player in her class, to becoming the projected No.1 draft pick in the WNBA, it’s been quite the journey for Caitlin and honestly, we’re just grateful we’re around to witness it. All jokes aside, KING LeBron James became the first player in NBA history to score 40,000 career points. He hit the milestone Saturday during the team’s 124-114 loss at home against the Denver Nuggets.
