The Kelces have all been in action this week, with a public phone slam, a Chiefs victory, and a suite full of family members.
Jason Kelce
The eldest Kelce brother has certainly had an eventful week after he went viral on social media for his reaction to hearing a homophobic slur directed at his brother, Travis. Jason was at the Penn State vs Ohio State game, and a Penn State fan asked him, "How does it feel that Travis is a f***** for dating Taylor Swift?" Jason angrily grabbed the fan's phone, slamming it to the ground, and asked, "Who's the f***** now?"
He apologized during the Monday Night Football broadcast of the Chiefs vs Buccaneers game.
“I’m not happy with anything that took place. I’m not proud of it. In a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don’t think that’s a productive thing… I think the bottom line is, I try to live my life by the golden rule. That’s what I’ve always been taught. I try to treat people with common decency and respect, and I’m going to keep doing that going forward even though I fell short this week. I’m going to do that moving forward”
Kylie Kelce
Jason's wife, Princess Kyana, attended the Chiefs game with him. As a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, she makes a concerted effort not to wear Chiefs gear, even when the Eagles aren't playing. However, Kylie wore a red sweater and classic white sneakers to support her brother-in-law's team while sitting in the suite with her family.
Travis Kelce
Travis had an impressive performance against the Buccaneers, making key plays that helped his team secure a 30-24 overtime victory. He recorded 14 catches for 100 yards, tying his career high for receptions in a single game. This achievement matches the record he set for himself against the Jaguars in the playoffs last year. Although he fumbled the ball at one point, his overall contribution was essential in this close, hard-fought win. His performance played a crucial role in the Chiefs' offense, and they are now 8-0, remaining the only unbeaten team in the league.
Taylor Swift
Yes, we know her last name technically isn't Kelce (yet…), but Travis' girlfriend is essential when keeping up with the Kelce family. Fresh off the final US leg of the Eras Tour, she returned to Arrowhead Stadium in an all-black outfit, killer boots again, a fabulous vintage Chiefs jacket, and some stunning jewelry. Taylor has regularly worn vintage Chiefs merch from local female-owned brands to games over the last year and a half. Her aura is still as strong as the Chiefs clinched an overtime victory.
Donna Kelce, Andrea Swift, and Austin Swift
Chiefs games are a family affair! Donna Kelce, the mother of Jason and Travis, was in the suite enthusiastically cheering for her son alongside the Swifts. Taylor Swift was accompanied by her mother, Andrea, and her younger brother, Austin. In the suite, Taylor sat with her mom on one side and Travis's mom, Donna, on the other. Andrea wore a long-sleeved top with red lettering that read "In My Chiefs Era," a charming nod to both Taylor and Travis. Donna also represented Kansas City colors, sporting a black jacket over a red jersey. The two moms appeared to be having a fantastic time sitting together.
