Boys Just Want to Have Fun!

The USA men’s basketball team is having the time of their lives. Between the talent, personalities, humor, and more, this team is nothing short of entertaining.

The team consists of many talented players - Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Jason Tatum are a few to highlight. Since the Olympic tournament started, they have dominated the court. While they remain undefeated, they have won most games by a 20-point margin. With Steve Kerr as their head coach, no one should be surprised by this!

The men have one job: win gold. However, they are doing so in style. Each basket is met with cheers and unique celebrations from those on the bench. Steph Curry specifically seems to be enjoying playing and cheering on his teammates the most! In the team’s first meeting against Serbia, Steph erupted with enthusiasm after Anthony Edwards scored and danced along the sidelines with a smile brighter than the City of Lights!

The team is enjoying their time on the court hunting for gold and watching other events at the games. Last week, a handful of team members went to cheer on the ladies of Team USA gymnastics. Everyone in attendance was locked in on the action, as most of them had their phones in hand, recording the Golden Girls. Steph Curry made headlines once again when he was spotted with his glasses on and phone out. Some online sources compared him to a scout, however, we know that would be any of us witnessing the GOAT!

Kevin Durant was asked about his experience at the Games and specifically about watching Simone Biles. Considering Kevin is one of the greatest in his sport, it only made sense that he related to and found inspiration in Simone. He shared that Simone inspires him on the court. “For her to continue to come out and showcase the brilliance every day, and also let people know that they sound crazy talking against her? To be able to do both is inspiring.” Despite the two feet in height that separates the two, they seem to be one-in-the-same when it comes to inspiration, dedication, and impact.

Kendall Jenner’s ex-boyfriend, Devin Booker, has also made headlines in Paris. He posted a picture of him on Instagram with Golden Girl, Suni Lee, which sent the internet into a frenzy. Was he simply showing support for another athlete? Or, was he hinting at a summer romance blossoming in the city of love? Take a look here and decide for yourself! We definitely ship it!

Basketball may be the reason these players are in Paris, but it is not the only thing they love. Multiple players have been spotted with their significant others enjoying meals, sightseeing, and cheering on Team USA. After a hard-fought second battle against Serbia, including an incredible fourth-quarter comeback, the men of USA Basketball are heading to their fifth consecutive gold medal game. Go, boys, go!
